Butler Community College (BCC), located in El Dorado, Kansas, has shared its positive experiences with the campusM student engagement platform in a newly released video testimonial.
Butler went live with their campusM app and portal, MyButlerCC, in 2020, as part of an initiative to enhance the college’s digital user experience.
“We had a very challenging web portal that was developed back in the 90s,” explains Bill Young, Vice President of Digital Transformation and Chief Information Officer at BCC. “We were struggling to move into that arena [of a unified web portal and mobile app], and campusM solved that problem for us.”
The college has been using the platform to make life easier for students by providing one-stop-shop access to messaging and resources, the institution’s learning management system, Canvas, maps, class schedules, assignments due and more. Faculty and staff are also making use of the web portal and mobile app to easily access the services and resources they need.
