We are excited to announce the deployment of the Alma August 2023 Feature Release. This is a bumper release in what has been a bumper year of new of developments in 2023, now totaling close to 150 new features and approximately 60 new enhancements.
As always, we are committed to listening to our user community and incorporating their ideas into Alma library management system. 25 items, directly stemming from ideas contributed by our user community on the Idea Exchange platform have been developed and completed this year. The August Feature Release sees the incorporation of 11 of these Idea Exchange items.
We accompany each feature release with Release Highlight videos. These videos provide valuable insights from education experts at Ex Libris integrated library system, explaining the key enhancements in some of the new features in the release. All the videos are freely accessible on YouTube and on the Ex Libris Knowledge Center. 7 such videos accompany the August Feature Release:

Two of the highlights of this release is the new user experience for managing Purchase Order Line lists, and for Managing Sets.
The redesigned interface offers a more intuitive and efficient experience for managing PO (Purchase Order) lines. Users can access a wealth of information, allowing them to make better-informed decisions. Additionally, the introduction of new search and facet options simplifies the process of locating PO lines with specific characteristics, saving time and effort.
The New Layout for managing sets is designed to provide users with an improved streamlined experience, in which more information is available at a glance and new facet options make it easier to locate sets with certain characteristics.
